It was one of the major battle between believers and non-believers where believers was out numbered (313 believers vs 3000 non-believers). The final victory was with believers.

Malabar Muslim Jama-ath (MMJ) conducted Badar Moulid on 06-Aug-2012 at Malabar Masjid.  Program started at 5 PM with Badar remembrance speech by Imam Shafeeq. Imam reminded the significance of Badar Moulid.

Through Badar moulid we remind ourselves on the struggles we have to go through for the success in life and here-after by remembering the struggles Prophet and his Companions gone through. GOH for the event was Masagos Zulkifli Minister of State for Home Affairs. After the recitation of Badar Moulid, MMJ President Hj Hafiz welcomed GOH and thanked everyone for attending the Majlis. GOH shared his experience during Ramadhan in Singapore and other countries like Japan, Australia, etc. During Ramadhan every masjid in Singapore has breakfast session which is not available in many countries.
