Alhamdulillah, the Majlis Salawat and Burdah organized by Malabar Muslim Jama-ath last Saturday (8 Nov) went ahead smoothly. It was a blessed rainy night at Masjid Sultan and we were all moved by the Burdah recitation by Imam Swadiq and his team. Shaykh Afeefuddin Al-Jailani graced us with his presence and gave a speech on the history & excellence of the Burdah qasidah and read the closing du’a. We would like to thank the staff at Masjid Sultan for allowing us to use the masjid as our venue and not forgetting the volunteers for working tirelessly. May Allah bless you all.
