MMJ conducted Majlis Ukhuwah – forging ties and brotherhood event on 21st april 2012. Â This was the first event conducted by new MMJ Committee
This blessed majlis was honored with presence of Habib Hassan Al Attas and Syed Isa (Former Mufti of Singapore). The Majlis started with introduction by MMB Chairman Haji Usman. Chairman highlighted the role of MMJ in history of Malabar Masjid. Chairman also wished all the success to the new committee.
Followed by introduction of GOHs by Imam Shafeeque Hudawi. Then Moulid Diba’e a great moulidu Rasool well known in South east asia recited with high spirit. Â After Moulid former Mufti spoken about the rememberence of Prophet Rasool. Â After the Ishak prayer Habib Hassan given short speech about his memories about Malabari community and Islam in India. Â Around 250 jemaha attended the majlis. See some of the pictures below.
